So I got that job I've been sweating over! I guess on one level I knew I would get it because I was the candidate with the most experience and best reasons, but there were still several factors that were less in my favor...
Anyway, this bodes well for every potatoo involved. I hope that I'll be able to partcipate in lots of sgpdx events this summer (once school stops... phew), get some goddamn pleasure reading done, and just have a lovely, edifying summer filled with swiss cheese and other acts of loveliness.
I know that I'm seven years after the cultural apex, but I'm considering getting a navel piercing. Such an adornment would form this really awesome vertical line down my body (along with my vertical hood & vertical labret), bisected by my nipple barbells... kind of like a sexy, sacrilicious cross!
Ok. Now today I am off to chill and paint pottery. I'm off to get glazed, potatoheads.

And don't worry, at the same time, you're about 3 years before the cultural apex, too. So now you can say you're ahead of the times. You're a trendsetter!
I think that works. I might be wrong. It happens from time to time.
I'm afraid I can't offer any opinion on the piercing due to my lack of artifical holes, but kira has some metal in 'the ol' food hose,' as we like to call it, and I certainly don't find her culturally passe.
