Hrrrrm. Due to a recent epidemic & my inexperience w/ the virus, I keep worrying that I have mono. Last night I felt like absolute shit and some lymph nodes at the base of my neck were feeling swollen... but then I slept for about 12 hours (recently awoke) and feel much shinier.

Yum! Yesterday indulged in various follies of the flesh... including bouncy castles and cotton candy. Also went to this neat pseudo-rave thing downtown. I didn't actually hang out in that area, but in the trancey chill room. It was so interesting...

*dj starts spinning bizarre fusion of repetitive beats, drones and sounds of children crying*

And at that moment I was TOTALLY taken aback because I realized that such noies are absolutely commonplace for me -- I always have this shit on in the background. Bizarre experimental music is bread and butter to me.

I was supposed to get my nipple repierced today but I decided that attempting to introduce body trauma & a foreign object into my body when my immune system was flaring up was a BadSauceIdea (tm). So it goes!

We got a taxi at 4 in the morning, five of us. When the driver dropped us back off, the meter read $11.30. He looked at all of us and just said $14. He realized we had no capacity for determining tips!
