I haven't had an opportunity to sit down and actually post a journal entry for a while. The week went by pretty goddamn brilliantly and I have to actually start taking care of shit tomorrow. Which is good. I've been kind of burning out on this excessive free time lately. It'll be good to get some external guidance.

I've been thinking a lot recently about being a mature person. I suppose this involves...
-being discreet
-not talking shit about people
-knowing one's limits
-being a good host
-accepting everyone else's oddities without judging them
-not asking "how are you" unless you genuinely want to know.

I think that recently, particularly after the turmoil of last semester, I've evened out quite a bit. I've got a lot of great job opportunities. I have a decent (if annoyingly timed) workload. I have a great boy with whom I can have an intelligent conversation and spend hours without saying anything. I have a shitload of friends. And... I'm just awesome. I think it will be great.

My piercing is still acting up! There is a little flap of lip-ness still irrated near the top ball. Blah.

And now to clean my room!

p.s. I really wish I had something queued. My boobs are too cool, man!
