So I've got to point out that my lip isn't swollen in that photo. I just have really really large lips. 
I took ibuprofen a bit before I got the piercing and the piercer remarked that I hadn't had any swelling so far. Which is a primary reason I chose that specific piercing -- I don't like my lips, dammit, and I wanted to... shall we say, modify my body in order to please myself? Some crazy-ass shit like that.
I went to a fondue party night (yum!) filled with a bunch of people who know SG people from real life outside of the site. How... strange! I thought everyone on this site only exists in relation to SG.... how can you people have external lives? Crazy....
I also started reading Neal Stephenson's Diamond Age today. Good stuff so far. His multi-narratives are awesome... good for my short attention sp--
Twelve more days. Well it's the 5th. ELEVEN MORE DAYS. Fuck. I am filled with anticipation, oh oh....
Back in Portland on Saturday! Alice will meet me in the airport and much awesome will ensue.
