So in less than 12 hours I will be at the airport and in 13 hours (damn security!) I shall be on a plane and hop up to PDX. The birthplace of SG so you KNOW it's tasty.
I hope I'll be able to be pretty active on the site but school is gonna munch up lots of my time. So, I hope you party peoples can shake your collective asses without too much prodding on my part.
Now to sort my clothes. Ick.
Sorry I haven't said too much here but I'm bombarded with crap. I've finished Cryptonomicon and just got myself a fat thing 'o TEH CTHULHU w/ which to amuse myself on the plane.

Cryptonomicon was fun, not as much of a rush as Snow Crash was... not as cryptic and ethereal like Diamond Age, but definitely fun. I wish Stephenson would learn endings though 
.. Zodiac had the only decent ending out of all his stuff (its about eco-terrorists) ... the rest of em tend to get to the end and then he throws out a "wtf? its over?" kind of ending..
