Holy shit! You're too much!

I was voted the most profain member of my class this year. My classmates complained that instead of punctuating my sentences, i said fuck. To start and end sentences. All exclamations.

You know what i said? Fuck that! lol

It's Bloomdsay, kids! Masturbate and talk nonsensically! C'mon, I know you can do it! Create fantastic inner narratives all day!

I made the best pasta sauce yesterday. Yum. Lots of tasty mushrooms in it. I spent the entire evening over that sauce.

Unfortunately I only had penne and they don't go well together at all. My kingdom for an appropriate noodle.

The indecision is...

I just picked up the SG Book from my local merchant. It's great. There are a couple pictures of YT (Yours Truly in MagicAbbrevoSpeak) in there. One of which is from a set that has yet to go up -- the first one I did, in fact. So I look like a scared rabbit, or possibly some sort of possum. Maybe a slithery potato?

Thing...

Thanks to the people who've left comments in my last journal entry. I've met with financial aid and we're trying to work it out. I'm definitely coming back next year. All right.

Nothing quite like listening to the webcast of the KCRW/NPR radio broadcast with an underlay of some Muslimgauze. I have a set of speakers in my living room and I LOVE putting on...

Oh, man. So the awesome hilarity of yesterday is no more. At least for a while.

I got my financial aid statement from my school yesterday and they're giving me $12,000 less than last year.

Sigh.

I'm really paralyzed as to what to do... I suppose, I'll be able to figure it out. I know I can't transfer -- I won't be as happy anywhere...

Try getting a job in the department that handles financial aid. I've heard that at some schools, if they have money left over in student aid budgets, they hand it over to their interns. Might not be much, but my Stepmom managed to put a dent in her college expenses using that trick.

Failing that, click this link, and vie for the covetted Ninja Scholarship. Real Ultimate Power!

1. Can your stepdad legally claim you as his dependent, if he is not supporting you?

2. Can you talk your stepdad into not claiming you, since you can get more tax credit through Hope or Lifetime Learning- you can claim yourself, but most likely he can't claim you = more money all around?

3. Lots of my friends had something like this happen, remember, only half make it through in 4 years, so why don't you consider taking a semester, sticking around, and working.

4. Did you get my email? My hotmail screwed up when I sent it and doesn't tell me if it got sent or not, but I do have a copy in sent messages, so go figure.

Wow, I haven't heard someone say that to me in a while. Good times!

So after Altered State, I read Daniel Pinchbeck's Breaking Open...

Who wants to go to Bumbershoot or possibly Lollapolooza with me?

Has anyone else seen Kenneth Anger's Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome? It's like this bizarre, acid-drenched kabuki (somehow related to Coleridge I suppose?) that makes me think of a college kid that loves his Luis Brunel. Weird shit, man.

Yar. I really wish I had a webcam. Then I could shoot rabbits, an'...

You know, I dunno why that picture came out so good. Usually the pictures from my camera phone come out all grainy and devoid of any color.
Alas, ecstasy and the raver movement are forever intertwined, like LSD and the hippie movement, though they [drugs and music] weren't necessarily dependent on each other. confused

did that make sense? damn I'm tired. heh. kiss

Just finished reading Lady Chatterley's Lover & Eric Schlosser's Reefer Madness. No, there's not particularly any theme to that, I just have *hell. of.* an excess of books to read. Yar! What new literary depths of depravity and despair shall I find myself bewallowed next?

I'm confused. I think that several people had the impression I was going to prom this month? If so this...

What a long week. Lots of people leaving... Saturday was wonderful -- a clearing-house party, end of the year surprises... I moved into my new place this week. We were able to compress all of my stuff into one car-load; it's an itnerestingly humbling experience to know that everything you define as yourself (both useless and completely functional) still fit into a Toyota.

The next...

Oh, where are you going to be living?

You are past the worst part of your academic career, so just kick back and enjoy and know how far you have come. Also, realize that in a few years, grad schools are going to be falling over one another to seduce you.

I compressed almost everything that I own into a fifteen foot uhaul, and it was a very humbling experience to see how much useless shit I own.

I am up way past my bedtime contemplating my messed up relationships and drowning out my sorrows with prescription painkiller and ativan. I just got off the phone with my best friend from PDX, hashing out all of our emotional issues, and I want to call her back because she does such a dead on job of letting me know when I am fucking my life up and I need to know in advance sometimes.

Whoa, kids! Check out Musicplasma. type in a band (I just tried Mogwai, as I'm currently listening to Happy Songs for Happy People) and you get some great finds. At the very least it's nice to see bands you enjoy connected. It's a bit slow, unfortunately.

Finals are DONE DONE DONE! No more school for another three months! Take THAT brain! Last night I...
