My 'closest' (and I use the term loosely) friend is moving in two weeks and she didn't even bother to tell me personally, I read it on Facebook!

I was hurt....
so in response after thinking about it for like 4 days I wrote this....

Scully thought she was important enough to get a phone call about your future, but she was wrong cause she read it on Facebook....

This upset her.... and I got a PM.

WoW! And what she did was fine? I am OVER IT!!! She said I could've called her when I read it.... yet she couldn't call me to tell me in the first place?! Is this backwards world?

The convenience of being able to post something online should never be used instead of informing people personally.

Especially when it's something important.

So many people use the internet inappropriately for stuff like that. Facebook does not "replace" good communication (or even just common courtesy) amongst friends.

I'm sorry she hurt you. frown I'm finding that a lot of people in this world are good at disappointing others.
