So my day started off not so good....
You know when you wake up witha feeling so you act on it or confirm it? Well me and the hubby have plans to go to Las Vegas for Halloween, well we have plans to go to a wedding in Vegas on Halloween to be exact, and I decided to call and confirm our reservations because I'm a little OCD about things like that. So I call and they tell me they have no reservation!!!
I had a bit of a bitch fit to say the least and since it was a comped room they weren't to caring about telling me they were booked otherwise!! I HATE MGM Grand!!! So I cried a bit (I've been extremely emotional lately, I think it's the change of seasons, it always brings up sad times...) and then I started getting a huge headache which stems from the stress of all this trip business and me smacking my head, really hard I might add, into the wall getting into bed the other night. Then as I tried to sit here and change the mood I was in I started getting a nausuating knot in the pit of my rib cage, yep my good ol' ulcer is acting up again, I guess I need to calm the fuck down and let things work themselves out... Stupid Ulcer!!
So now it is many hours later and I've just gotten out of a warm bath and I am feeling slightly better, the baby is off to sleep and I am here wondering whether or not I should still try to call another hotel out there, so I call NYNY and low and behold we have a room, comped!! YES!!! So looks like the trip is back on!! We'll only be there Oct 30th thru the 1st of Nov, but that is about all I can handle being away from the boy... Plus my mom will be watching him, so she will probably need a break too, Hee Hee!!
