today was a good day. i wish i could give myself a high five. or a hug.
i closed on refinancing my previous two mortgages. lowered my monthly payment a tad, and my interest rate now drops 1.25 points. the best part - after 6 years of struggles being a single homeowner trying to renovate on a measly budget, i finally got some cash to put into the house. i can finally put some closure to some long neglected projects.
plus........
i finished putting together a presentation for tomorrow to a large law firm. i think it looks pretty good and is well thought out. they are interviewing 4 firms for a remodel in the ids center. im sure my bosses will a) fuck up the interview by talking about how great they are and b) bitch at me for putting "too much time" into the presentation. but i still feel good about it.

it was my parents anniversary and they had reservations at palomino tonight. i made an 8.5x11 board to stand at their table. it had a picture of them from their honeymoon in the pocono mountains of pennsylvania and some poems on it to wish them happy anniversary. i stopped by the restaurant before they arrived and asked the hostess to have it at their table with some chocolate hearts i bought before they sat down. they called me from dinner and my dad said he sat down not even noticing until he got settled - saw it and let out a loud (and he is loud) laugh, then started crying and excused himself to go to the bathroom cause he was embarassed. everyone was wishing them a happy anniversary. i love it when a plan comes together.

the last frazier. im a sucker for that show. i cried and i wasnt even drunk. and frazier is moving to cali. maybe ill go there so i can still listen to him.
