my parents are absolute rockstars

they just give and give and give and don't ever feel like its enough

the house is always perfectly festive for the holidays - my mom doesn't miss a thing - and the food is always to die for.

dad always has the fire blazing - is my moms assitant in the kitchen, and always has the house stocked with beer and a full bloodymary bar.

they are gods to their 6 grandkids.

and they are soooo good at gift choices for everyone

i feel like shit cause every year i bitch selfishly about how i hate being alone for the majority of xmas' over the last many years - and i always forget actually how lucky i am to be blessed with such a great family.

i may not always see eye to eye with the parental units but i will never take them for granted - they are the shit.
