here are the two wierd things that happened to me today:

first, i saw this car on fire in the midde of an intersection, so i pulled over to watch the blaze, and i do mean huge ball of fire, i was hoping the flames would reach the gas tank and the car would explode before the fire dept arrived, alas, they got there a bit too soon to quench the inferno.

the second thing i guess is just kind of funny, i went to leave work today, and i was parked behind all these drain pipes for some construction project. anyway, this asshole in this suv totally blocked me in. i would have had to make this 100 point turn with a broken power steering pump to get out. fuck that. i asked my buddy kent if he would watch the rear and guide me out. he said no problem. i get in the car, my man sais: go ahead and pull foward a bit, i say o.k. and promptly put the truck in reverse and slam on the gas. i hit this fucker so hard that i guess his suv moved back or something because i had little trouble getting out after that. he had this fat ass bumper grill thingy (witch was not really damaged) and i now have a very fucked up tailgate.

it pays to have a fucked up truck that you don't care about.

also, i really really like it when the power goes out on 6th between market and mission. it is a post-apocalyptic funhouse.
