Ah, turkeyday. The second to the best of all holidays. Food, fun and family who could ask for anything more? The only problem is that it opens the door to Christmas, that holiday which has been so successfully bastardized by merchants and big business. Hence my dilema, I am fairly certain that I will be receiving gifts from various family members that still remember I'm alive and I will be expected to return the favor. I really have no problem with spending the money or even taking the time out to go shopping it's just that I'm at a complete loss as to what to get for anyone. Everyone I know seems to be a bit compulsive and they tend to go out and buy the things they want the minute they decide that they want them. That means I have to be creative which again usually is not a problem with me yet still at this task I seem to choke a bit. I think I try to get a little too creative and end up making the job of shopping for the perfect gift all the more difficult. Maybe this year I'll try some form of shopping roulette, all I need is the ads from a sunday paper and some darts. Maybe a pair of dice in the event of a tie.... I mean the kind you wear, not an impass.
Hmmmm.
Hmmmm.
