A portion of the bus service in SoCal is suffering a mechanics strike and the drivers are honoring the strike. So traffic was ugly this morning. After reading about the causes of the strike it seems to come down to both sides getting hung up on one thing. Sometimes folks just invest to much ego into having something work the way they want it to. I am guilty of the same thing more than I care to admit.
Finally talked to my Mom last night after not talking to her for about a month and a half. She is so convinced that she did something wrong and she really hasn't. All that happened was that I didn't want to talk to her. She gets so much out of talking to me and it takes so much out of me. The funny thing is I was about to call her last weekend than she called me again and that just reset the clock on me not wanting to talk to her.
