I spent a few hours on Monday fighting against attacks on some of my accounts out there that were under attack by someone from Poland. Poland? Really? Thanks a lot jerks. A few weeks ago it was China. Right now I'm trying to find a way to get some of these accounts deleted, ones that I have not used in a while, in an effort to close off these avenues of attack. My Instagram has been hit 4 times now, and I've had to change my password each time after I wrested control back from someone. Facebook I haven't used in several months so I just need to make it inactive. Twitter I've given up on using as it is so caustic there, but I had to regain control of it as well. I have a secondary Steam account that I have no idea where it came from but I'm in the process of getting it shut down. There's a few other accounts that I've requested password changes from them but have been unable to get responses, so those might just be lost to me now. So frustrating.
There are very few times that I say I hate someone, but people hacking into accounts...well I just hate them very much. They are nothing but a disease to the internet community and I wish we could wipe them out (if not their person, then just their access). Grrr!
