Doing okay~ish today. Very tired, had trouble sleeping last night. The cold is making sleeping hard as it fills my throat up enough when I lay down that I start choking.
Went out for lunch today, just needed some light human interaction. It was all good, I was finishing my sandwich and planned on sitting and reading for another 30 minutes when it suddenly dawned on me what the 2 old white guys are the bar were loudly discussing.I was stunned at first, then really pissed beyond all belief that they were so casually talking about dropping enough "nucular" bombs (spelled how they said it) to glass the entire area and kill every raghead, and take out those Israeli's too. "we dropped bombs on the Japs, that's the best thing we did. Only thing those people understand. They are raised learning that killing us is good." (Yes, I caught the irony in this statement) Etc!!!!!!!
I was so pissed! I grabbed some cash for my meal (I eat here fairly regularly, and know about how much it costs) and slammed it onto the bar next to them and said loudly to the bartender (who was waiting on me) I'm sorry this might not be enough to give my usual tip, but I can not sit here and listen to these people cheerfully, and loudly, spout their ignorant views promoting murder and genocide. And stormed out.
Gods! Okay, I know that people have differing views, but you should NOT go out in public and loudly espouse them when discussing murder. Or if you do, it should be legal to call the police and have you arrested. People like this.......!
Okay, deep breath. Just had to share this glorious example of Americanism and old white guys.
