Let's try a little music review shall we, I don't profess to be a know-it-all when it comes to music but I will certainly let you all know what I like and what I don't like, even if you don't ask me.
Theres been a bunch of new singles, and cds out recently and here I'll try and let you guys know what I think of them, cuz I know your dying to hear.
New Marilyn Manson Single - mOBSCENE
-Don't like it, it seems that mr. Manson and company are trying to make a pop song in a metal realm. Not a good idea, the song comes off to me as being rushed and not well thought out, oh and highlighting obscene in mob scene .... well thats just brialiant, a regualr einstein over there. Hopefully their new cd will be much better, Remember how good Holy Wood was.
new P.O.D single - Sleeping Awake
-I can't get this damn song out of my head. Everytime its quiet all I can hear in my head is "dreaming of zion awake, sleeping awake" Sonny has some sweet melodies in this song.
New Chimaira Album - The Impossibility of Reason
-From what I've heard so far this is going to blow all other forms of metal away and have Chimaira rule the metal form
New Boysetsfire Album - Tomorrow Come Today
-If you haven't heard of this band yet go check them out, they will change your world view. They are heavily political so watch out for that, but they don't come off as preachy. After the Eulogy is their most awesome cd.
New Staind single - Price to Play
-Just like the P.O.D song this one is very catchy too, ahh what can you expect its a radio song. Point of note, Staind used to be my favorite band for 2 years about 3 years ago. But at that time I just didn't know any better. Theres one thing I will say about this though, at least its not a sappy ballad.
New Godsmack album - Faceless
-At first I thought it was really good, but then after a few listens "I liked it better the first time when it was called awake"
New AFI album - Sing the Sorrow
- A masterpeice ... 'nuff said
thats all for now boys and girls, if you like my opinions, maybe I'll do this again when I feel like sharing my thoughts on music, if you hate them and think I should die or think "who the hell do I think I am" well Im just a fan with strong opinions and I like to share them... and really we all have the right to our own opinions and to share them... but if you still hate them and think I should die, well too bad
