when 9/11 happened, i was out of the Marines and had finished my degree by then. i couldn't join back up in the USMC becasue that requires a lot of running, and the running i just can't do all that well anymore. USAF doesn't require so much, if at all.
sometimes i miss the rigid structure of the Corps, but i realize that now i'm not the 19 year old alpha male close minded fanatic either
