Today is truly a strange strange day.
My bestest friend Amy gave birth to a lovely and tiny baby girl late last night, her name is Lillian Isis, and shes so adorable and soft. I am sooo happy for her and her boyfriend. I am also thankful I could go visit her today and tell her how much I care and are happy for her. All my to you Amy!
In other ironic news, a friend of mine killed himself tonight. I dont really know how to feel about this. We were not terribly close or anything, but we would hang out on ocassion and.... well I guess he decided to finally end it, once and for all tonight. Went to the firing range, and pulled the trigger. It almost doesn't seem real to me... My sympathy goes out to his family and closer friends... especially Chris they were like brothers. I just hope he is in a happier place now, and his suffering has ended.
Things are just, really eerie today.
When I got into work, my managers were distraught and teary eyed telling me that Kenny (a coworkers dad) was in the hospital in critcal condition with only 2 days to live. Everyone was really emotional and almost gossipy about it. I felt bad for Kenny, his family, and just for the situation as a whole - but I do not know why people kept buzzing about it. Does that make it worse?
Today has brought life and death before my eyes, one thing fades as another new thing is just starting..... creepy!
