Who dictates what the "theme of the week" is on Facebook? There have already been two this week! I just find it weird to use a picture to represent me that isn't me.

Does anyone else find it unbelievable that we/people are made to find something that interests them (or not) get a job and work for the rest of our lives at that profession? What happened? Is our culture just obsessed with stuff and "keeping up with Jones'" that we have to work to support our habit of continuously purchasing things we don't need? I try not...

I had a hard time figuring out what to try and do with my life that I thought would make me happy for the rest of it. I finally figured it out about a month ago and have set myself on a path. I'm excited not because I'll eventually get paid for it, but it'll be something I'll be proud of.
killary:
I guess it all depends on the person. I like to buy movies to watch, I like to buy toys and cameras and gadgets to play with. Could I live without all that crap? Yeah, but to me it'd be a boring existence.

I am so ready to do more fun, playful pictures. I'm so sick of doing dreary, boring, oh-so-serious nonsense but I guess I can't complain if I'm getting paid and I am grateful, don't get me wrong, it's just not intellectually stimulating and I have a hard time taking it seriously and I am working on a great run on sentence that I am ending...

I really want to cook/bake something complicated but I can't because my oven's broken. frown I guess I could technically cook something in the toaster oven but it would have to be in gnome sized portions or in preparation to have a tea party with my stuffed animals. I used to be a sucky cook but as it turned out, I was just lazy and tried...

I have just found my niche for cooking. I think it is so much more satisfying to eat something that you've made, and it is usually much healthier for you as well!
nathanialblood:
I love cooking but my baking is complete failure. I can never bake enough I usually burn everything i bake blush

Zombies are singularly the best thing fabricated by the human mind... however, saying that, The House of the Dead 2 and 3 SUCK compared to Overkill.

Grrrrrr.... I'm having a difficult time finding a job with the library system where I live. It makes me wish I'd never quit to begin with but such is life. I started making more modeling and now, of course, I'm sick of the ridiculousness that is the fashion industry and want to serve the public again. The old battle axes that take up the library...

It's so funny how little kids can be so bloody insulting sometimes. Today, I overheard a little girl talking about how she thought redheads are scary. That remark brought out my inner eight year old. I wanted to say "well at least I'm not an ugly snot nosed brat like you!" but adults aren't allowed to say that kind of thing to kids. Underneath my...

Red hair is a beautiful thing.
aurynn:
agreed - it's very difficult sometimes, i was always the butt of ginger jokes as well - but srsly, the amount of people telling me they wished they had this colour and how hard they had to work from a bottle to get theirs to look like mine - makes up for every bad joke <3

A byproduct of being more open is I look more approachable and don't walk around with a perpetual scowl on my face. I suppose having Lilith Crane and Wednesday Addams as role models when I was a child was a bad idea since I abolished smiling from my list of facial expressions. I don't think I will ever be able to rid myself of the...

it's good to be open. . .and its good to be sarcastic. . .tough as it is sometimes with ppl thinking you're an asshole and what not all the time. That tends to be my issue, or i try to peal back the sarcasm and either come across a a fuckin weirdo or i just laugh at everything, which also kinda makes me a weirdo. Seems to be working out for u though. . .congrats.
iamthelaw:
There is nothing pesky about sarcasm, my lovely and brooding Mariettan. With the exception, of course, of when there is a giant gulf between the person who utters a sarcastic phrase, and the person who doesn't get it. That gulf is frequently referred to as a "sarchasm"
