Ugggggg... I've almost been awake for 24 hours. My dad had his gallbladder removed so of course I went to be moral support. A few things amused me... first, I was reading "Good Omens", a book about the apocalypse, right next to a stained glass window with Jesus healing people (The surgery took place in a Catholic hospital. I didn't see nuns today). Secondly, the...

Yay yay yay! I have a photo shoot tomorrow with one of my favorite photographers in Atlanta. We're going to be doing a shower shoot so it'll be hot! I'll post the photos as soon as I get them! <3

If I had one wish it would be for people to see what I'm thinking. Sometimes what I see and think is so overwhelmingly wonderful, it can't be verbalized and I would love to share these thoughts. Thank goodness the snows are thawing within myself I am starting to feel content in most social situations.
I had made my energy very unapproachable and that made...

i feel ya. I oftentimes will jump to completely random topics in conversation because my mind is going through so much information that I make several connections in my head at once and end up at a new thought. If I mention it, people usually give me the stink-face because it seems completely unrelated to what we're talking about. Then I have to spend the next 5 minutes explaining how my mind got there.

I completely understand and am glad to hear you're coming to terms with your brain. wink

Now we just have to figure out how to cook it! mmmm, brains....

Last summer I was in a really bad indie (gratuitous gore and nudity) movie that is now coming back to haunt me. It seems every "film maker" in Atlanta has seen it (and can recognize stills from it and I've been approached by other film makers to do their horrible films) and I really never want to hear about it again so I'm just going...

Sorry the experience was crappy for you. I did a couple really horrible movies too, if that makes you feel any better. I loved the experience, though. The director and I flirted through the whole thing, and actually ended up vaguely keeping in touch.... Granted, he's not a scumbag like it sounds like your director might have been.

haha.. wink you got some battle wounds now.

forgot to tell you that i worked with this band that is originally from Hotlanta a few weeks back. great guys.

Have any of you ever known a piece of information that could ruin lives? I accidentally stumbled on something I really wish I hadn't. I think I'm going to try and forget I know it and writing about it is the first step, the second step is alcohol.

Yeah I don't envy you.

I've come across information, photos etc. that could potentially ruin someones life if I chose to share...but didn't/haven't.

Yea. Its not fun.

Yay! My first set FINALLY goes up the end of this month. I'm so nervous about it! I shot another set this morning... the photographer convinced me to wear my reading glasses in a few, so you guys will be able to see the studious side of me. I really can't get away from the librarian stereotype, which is ironic because I have an interview...

You know half the guys and girls on this site are nerds, and over half of us think Alyson Hannigan is sexy. Dressing a librarian with glasses will get you far more fans than dressing up in football pads wink

Valentine's Day is consumerism at its worst! Let's all help make De Beers more money and exploit more impoverished people! I'm not bitter because I've had a terrible Valentine's Day in the past... I really don't care about any holiday that forces people to buy presents and cards for family and friends. Why can't we celebrate things that are worth while like scientists birthdays or...

I'm snowed in! In Atlanta! I curse the snow gods! And I'm super bored but that's okay; I've gotten quite a bit accomplished since I can't leave the house. I've booked some shoots, caught up on movie watching, read a bit of course, and now I'm about to work on my never-ending needle point project. Maybe I should have gotten something smaller than a table...

Is it me or is everyone in sort of a funk? There is no reason whatsoever I should be in a bad mood, but I have been the last week. Maybe it's winter blues. Otherwise I'm happy. Then again, maybe it's not me. Rather, everyone around me has been in a bad mood and I've been trying to cheer them up and perhaps I'm absorbing...

I could totally use some bubbles and a rubber ducky. Car accidents and bad luck with the ladies factor into the winter blues to make the funk pretty irritating though... but bubbles and rubber duckies sound like fun. Maybe that would be relaxing enough to take my mind to another world for a bit?

smile We were best friends before all this and I'd still like to retain something like that! haha His mom found out that he was going to be with another girl this weekend and she was freaking out I thought is was silly and I got a chuckle outa it

We got over 12 inches here on Friday/Saturday last week and we've gotten probably another 6" today. It's been a pain in the ass, but they've dealt with it fairly well so far.
tireoghain:
Well, its been sitting around 33 degrees celcius with 90% humidity here.
Give me snow over that any day of the fucking week.

This weekend was crazy! I'm typically super laid back, drama free and easy to get along with because I generally like everyone BUT, when someone or something I love is threatened, I apparently lose it. My dog is my baby. She's really co-dependent and shy but a good judge of character. I always make new friends meet her to see how she'll react to them....

nathanialblood:
I really really want to agree with you and everyone who has posted and say good on you. But what if your dog was just smelling a dog it didnt like on the guy? That being said there is no excuse for him trying to kick your dog at all. As for him being rude and "analyzeing" what women want in bed yeah that makes him adouche as well.

There is nothing more entertaining than the general public. People watching is my favorite past time. I'm sitting at the library attempting to study, but I'm not, and to my right there is a guy doing Bible study on his cell phone. Who's he talking to? God? I especially like it when kids decide to run amok. I shouldn't laugh and encourage them but I...
