Hmmm.. nothing too exciting has been going on here. I've been working my motherfuckin ass off to try to buy me a new 12 string acoustic. Also been tryin to survive these 4 degree days that has been so present lately.

I got a pretty nice schedule going for the next month. On the 21st I go to New Orleans to help a buddy mix a record. Stay there till the 25th, come home, then head out to LA from the 27th to the 31st for some much needed soul debauchery. Who knows, I could end up stoned and hanging out with fucking Donald Duck or something. Speaking of stoned, I smoked these nugz the other day that turned me into a 2 hour mute. Very uncharcteristic of me but the bud was that good. It ended up being a unproductive practice, i'll tell you that.

My friend Joey has started up a band that I might persue playing in as a side escape. The music is unreal. It's intense as hell, reminds me alot of Shadows Fall/Arch Enemy, very solo filled but very melodic within the heaviness. I have instrumental demos if anyone is interested.

If you haven't heard the new Shadows Fall CD *The War Within* I suggust you check it out, words can't define the greatness of the guitar work on the album. Also Coheed and Cambria's *Second Stage: Turbine Blade* is a def. bad ass cd growing on me as well.
