Yep, the Festival at Merriweather was awesome, there were so many great bands there. Muse and Interpol also did get sets, so did a band called The Cooper Temple Clause. No too many people have heard of them, they sort of mix electronica, aspects of Pink Floyd, and straight ahead hard rock. Truly awesome.
Next concert I go to will probably be the "And You Will Know Us By The Trail of the Dead" a great indie rock band that remind me of old Sonic Youth for some reason, they'll be at the Ottobar soon. Then it's the Industrial Trifecta month, Ministry, KMFDM, and Laibach all within about two weeks.
I have no idea how in the hell I'm going to afford any of this, but I'll piece that together later.
Oh yeah, since I'm lucky #1, do I get any special reward for being at the front of the line? A boy can hope....
