Tommorow, I get my new work PC. I'll have a crazy day: tighten up my code and it's docs, settle my payment and finalize my resignation, run over to the new job, deploy PCs, wire lan, and get back to whiteboarding our early design for the next project I'll take on. Joy.

Why is it that I either do nothing or I'm running around all...

Hmm, I underestimated just how much effort it is to run 3 jobs in parallel. Thankfully, one of them ends Friday. So its spot (4 days @ 8 hours each) will go to one of the jobs I've been handling in the evenings. Another one will lose it's week day spot (1 day @ 8 hours). When everything's said and done, I'll have one job...

i am enjoying deflating for the first time in ten years. other factors were involved (meds, for one thing) but i see progress all the time and it makes me very happy.

So far so good. Things are looking good all around. I've got a finalized, signed contract with a new company in the financial field. Decent programming job, starting from a clean slate and building up from there.

The job has one perk I'm not quite sure about: relocation to Sacramento after about 4 months. The four of us in Montreal would all go at the...

Things appear to be settling down. Except for my work situation, I really don't know which way to run. It feels like 2000 all over again. I have just started a contract that is not signed yet and I have someone who's expressed interest in savagely outbidding them. I'm meeting them tommorow, we'll see what happens.

Why does everything always fail at the same time? There is a rule out there that says that when things stop working, EVERYTHING stops working.

Well, SG is slowly starting to work again with Mozilla, most of the comments on the board are still invisible though and there's a bunch of weird spacing going on.

I still have to tab-navigate to update this.
rosalyn:
Hrm, well as far as I know, I'd be using VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS... things like that... so.. OSs yea, but 'special' ones. :/
Ah well, I'm all for learning. smile

If I get the job that is. I find out in a few days... so wanting.. gar..!

Haha, and I know what you mean... I spent the summer making a web application with SQL and Cold Fusion. What a freakin' joke.

Hey.. you seem like a geek. I like that in a person. hi biggrin
silencenoir:
J'ai encore de la misere a m'ajuster avec le site aussi. Ca va mieux par contre.

Il y'a des choses qui me fatigue, comme les banners en haut. C'etait mieux quand c'etait de vraies photos des SGs.

Comment vas-tu?

I am now officialy in the internet gambling industry. The money is good (since they accepted my initial request without thinking about it, it could've been better) the karma is, well, at least I'm not in the tobacco industry ....

It's a contract with possibility of being a perpetually renewed contract. No deductions at source, it's gonna be hell on my taxes and I'll have...

Canada upset China at the Women's World Cup (Football/Soccer.)

I have a job interview at 8:30 am.

So far, so good.

UPDATE: My inside source says I most likely got the job. So, hmm, I return to regularily scheduled pay cheques (twice monthly.)
silencenoir:
Merci, non, nous n'avons rien eu avec la tempete. Nous sommes chanceux!

hehe Yes, I AM a toy slut. Although I prefer toy snob. Or rather, I am very elitist when it comes to my toys. wink The reason for that is because I do not want anything but the best, if I can help it, for my Master to see, hold, and use each time he uses me. Of course, it benefits me as well - such as, the rope is amazingly soft yet incredibly strong, so it won't give me icky rope burn. biggrin And the collar is something I will be wearing at all times so it must look pretty. Those things have function for both of us. The cane, however, is of a quality that is very specific to him. He can paddle me, spank me, cane me with whatever he wants... but I want him to feel the best in his hand when he brings it down across my ass. That, in short (haha), is my reason for being a toy snob! biggrin

Hmm, sushi for breakfast, no one in the office, not really sure what I should be doing today.

Nice and relax, all the opposite of yesterday. Great.

Also, I need clothes. Although as far as that goes, I'm starting to sound like a broken (borken?) record.
silencenoir:
Sushi pour dejeuner? C'est pas mon fort, mais les gouts sont dans la nature, eh?

J'ai toujours besoin de vetements aussi *soupir*.
