haha! I have finally, more accurately updated my profile here! it makes sense now, but is still HELLA long!

i went grocery shopping today, and i noticed alot of things. Safeway almost always has bad asparagus. Also, you can buy a run of the mill, most likely gmo's definitely chemically drenched lemon for 59 cents. Or you can get an organic lemon for 79 cents and it's about twice the size of option a), and isn't drenched in chemicals, and is most definitely gmo and nano tech free!!! all that for 20 more cents!!!

also, while pondering organic fruit, i started thinking about all those people that say; " well organic still has pesticides, i mean wind and precipitation (most people don't list precipitation, i'm being generous here) spread things you know!!!"

Really?! that much huh?? Like enough that i should just buy regular old fruit.... cuz if that's the actual case, it would somewhat validate the point- but seeing as how that pretty well impossible, except in an ideal runoff situation where we had a regular farm, growing pesticide/herbicide, etc ridden plants; and an organic farm side by side, growing plants intended to be inorganic chemical.gmo, etc free. Then maaaaybe the argument would have a leg to stand on. However, just the nano tech possibility and the gmo definite cancel it out and make it preposterous.

Also what's with canada/usa grown?? how does that work?? You can't even choose with your wallet that way.

I am becoming less and less impressed with safeway...

well i have to clean - my mom's coming for the weekend!!

woot!

I'm addicted to bananas. I like to eat at least two a day at work, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. And then I take the peels home to put in my composter. Unfortunately, by composting bin gets sort of full in the winter because it's too cold. I've heard that bananas are absorb chemicals like crazy but it's hard to find organic bananas sometimes. So I guess that means I'm going to die someday.

There would probably be a wider selection of new fruit to try in the summer as opposed to the winter (and less expensive too), so if you keep it up until around May before you run out, just think of the new selection that will open up to you! smile

You give good advice, but my anger is mostly directed at situations rather than people. Except for selfish people who leave their shopping carts in the way of others because they're lazy! Nah, really, people are flawed, I find it really hard to get angry at them. They're mostly they way they are because it's what they're used to. So I just get angry at the situation, which is all intangible like.
