god...i've been nursing the gnarliest hangover for like 12 hours today. colt 45's a bitch. i guess all the rain in new york is keeping me in a drinking state of mind...a little reminiscent of pdx. i found a rad bmx in fort greene park it's my little treasure-i want to paint it flat black and tape a radio to the front. new york has been ok so far, although having no cash makes it a bit hard to be out and about all the time. this week i went to the metropolitan museum and saw lucien freud paintings, a dali i wanted so badly to steal, and lots of weird folk art hidden upstairs in glass cases. i really like flat two dimensional paintings, i guess it makes humans seem a little less real and therefore less terrifying. i walked part way through central park, had a bagel with vegan cream cheese, went grocery shopping in china town and made an amazing peanut stir fry. i went to sweetwaters to have a beer and listen to some punk music in a dimly lit area, but it was movie night, so i rode bikes with my beautiful friend meghan and we sat on the curb and held hands watching cute kids walking by for awhile. i was thinking that the lack of summer was inhibiting magic moments, but i just forgot to make them happen...
