What is even sadder about the fact that religion destroys so many things is the fact that originally religion was not designed to do that...but throughout time PEOPLE have distorted it and used it as a tool to control and dominate. I'm intrigued by the US fascination with cupcakes. We just don't eat them. Are we Brits missing out? I mean, we have crumpets and English muffins (nothing like a muffin) so I don't feel deprived.

^ it's kind of a trend now in america, but people just seem to have more fun with cupcakes. because of the size, you can have one more often, i just wouldn't have a slice of cake any old time, but a cupcake? i've never declined a cupcake. mmmm red velvet cupcake......we have english muffins here, too - more of a roll though. ok, wth is a crumpet????
