No lie. I won't buy a pet, because I don't think owning an animal to keep one company is that cool an idea, but perhaps I should go down to the local animal shelter and find a cat. Indoor only, I hate losing pets due to random outdoor nonsense.

I just worked out a recipe for dark chocolate mint marshmallows on Friday night. We ate almost the entire batch. I pray that people don't order them for the sake of my waistline. tongue Not quite as minty as a peppermint patty, but damn it if they aren't as awesome.

Well peeps...don't be surprised to see more of this. The gap between left and right is widening, and it will continue to do so. As it widens, both sides will become more and more extreme...Understand that this is part of a "worldwide spiritual offensive" (as they like to call it) on the right; their goal is to convert everyone to their version of Christianity (a Christianity that Jesus would weep over)...they want to scrap the constitution and but America (and eventually the rest of the world) under Old Testament Biblical law.

this bill has already been passed. texas women must now undergo an ultrasound, REQUIRED BY LAW, and then go sit in a corner for 24 hours and think-about-what-you're-about-to-do, missy! before before being able to have a legal abortion. by contrast, there's no waiting period to purchase a handgun in texas. fuck you, texas.

yum!!! eating roasted red pepper miso bisque. first time i've made it in over a year. i'm in sort of a vegetarian phase. i'll vacillate in my diet. some weeks i'm mostly carnivore - and i'll crave sushi or a rare steak, and others i'll go days without meat at any meal. i wonder if it's tied in to my health, mood, etc?

kind of weirded out. i have had an off and on headache for a week now, with nausea, and now for 3 days i have had a stiff neck. i hope i'm fine by the morning bc i do not want a spinal tap to test for menengitis. i'm getting all weepy just thinking about it. and my husband does not appreciate the added work...
