Today was a long day. This morning we had to put my dog down. He was very special to all of us and it was pretty tough thing to do but he was almost dead from cancer. We put him down because he could no longer control his bowels and he couldn't walk or move his back end at all. It was so distressing for him that he couldn't stand up, it was heartbreaking.
We drove up to Crescent City and went to the beach. Really long day, but in many ways a very lovely day. Painful and sad, but also beautiful

Thank you, I am glad he is no longer suffering. It is sad to miss him but we are happy he is free of his body which was holding him back.
