Update on my buddy in the hospital.
They have ran all the test they can. In doing so they found to be minimal brain activity and zero activity from the ceribral thing in the back of the brain. The doctors say he his brain dead. (Cant they come up with a better term than that, it just sounds bad) They hoped he would come out of it, but up untill recently, they didn't know how long he was under the water. They figure he was under for about 40 minutes or more. There is an investigation at the pool where it happend. Someone dropped the ball. At some point awhile ago, he had told his family that if he was ever in a bad accident to where he would be only alive if plugged into a machine, his wishes were to be unplugged from life support. So, they have made a decision today. Sunday, when more family shows up, they will unplug him. I will be flying to San Jose Saturday morning to be with my best friend, and his brothers last days.
