Why do they complain if that's what they accept?... Maybe they're too scared to move out of a comfort zone into something different. Maybe they're scared of getting buttloads of complaints from girls whose bed sets used to be accepted but aren't anymore. It appears they are going for more quantity than quality/variety. And while bed sets will never disappear (they're not inherently dull, just by nature of overexposure) something different would be awesome. To go back to Alexis' set, I didn't even think of it as a bed set until you mentioned it, the interesting part made up for the "locale" if you will.

damn, i guess i dig them. They definitly are over used. Though, I do believe it makes for good lighting if using a window or lamp, giving a sense of intimacy. I'm sure you would look great in a bedroom set. Though, knowing you have been recently or still are making sets, it probably doesn't seem creative. Originality isn't everything, if you can take something and make it your own and people love it, then you have suceeded. Maybe these sets haven't suceeded like you think you could or they should. Sometimes it's just a difference in opinion. Anyway, from the photos you posted it seems like you are on your way to very nice set. Good luck again.

I trust mapquest. The only time I get lost with Mapquest is when I'm nearing my destination and have to keep an eye open for road signs. I usually spot 'em too late.
As for your cabin vacation, that sounds awesome! Just bring a video camera so that if anything *should* happen, they can turn it into a movie. That would be cool!

I thought of two really funny outdoor set themes. Sure, one would be in the woods, but it's hilarious. Maybe they'd accept it. I'm hoping to get them done within the next two weeks.
