well do you fear one or the other? is the fear of dieing natural. the need to perserve oneself? i think yes it is. but what about DEATH. are you afraid of death. i don't think there is any reason to fear death. fear of death is the same as fear of all and any unkowns. what is your faith heaven? hell? nirvana? end? what if your faith dictated your afterlife? well if you beleive in any one thing than i think that is further reason not to fear death. you beleive in your fate as death become you. now dieing is diffrent. that is an action. that is somthing to fear. the knowlage that you have at the time death comes is intence. or so my opinion that it is. not worldly knowlage all things that have come and all that shall come but the knowlage that your time is up the feeling in you throat as it closes. the blood rushing through your veins. your heart beating ever so fast just to slow to a stop. the hormons and chemicals your body produces that melt your scences to delirium. and fear. fear that you have never known why because nothing and i mean nothing is more fearfull than the fear that you will never feel again in this life. but is that fear really then fear of death ?
