Depression, anxiety, PTSD...

I struggle with all the above. Not to the level as others, but I struggle nonetheless. If you are struggling, you are not alone. I know what it feels like to feel alone, misunderstood, uncared for. There are people out there/here that care. Maybe you haven't found them yet but you will. There are amazing people in this world. Keep fighting. Every time you don't pick up that razor, that beer, that needle, whatever, every single minute you don't you are succeeding. Every minute is a victory. On the flip side, if you give in, it is not a failure but simply a set back. Keep fighting. It's difficult being honest about mental health. I struggle to be honest about it. But I can't truly help others if I'm not honest. Build a team around you. This site has a group for depression, join it. Build your team that way. We don't ever have to meet to help each other. If you go to therapy keep going even if you think it isn't helping. You never know when that moment will happen when things start to fall into place. Everything in life is one step at a time. Pride yourself in taking a single step. I have had a few people walk away from me because "it was too hard." What a terrible fucking feeling. But I have to keep having faith that someday someone with think I'm worth it, they'll think the good parts of me out weight the broken pieces. I hope to find the person will to help me glue the broken parts back together. Until then I will rely on myself and my team to help me. And I am always willing to be on your team. I care.
