sometimes life can be beautiful without everything going perfectly right.
today was one of those days, and it was still a good day.
i have a content calm soothing me. silently lulling me off the window's ledge. i hope it lures me to the road less travelled. for i know that road is lovely.

I'm selling the bike mainly cause I just don't want it to sit idle for a year. it would need all kinds of maintenance work when I got back anyway if it did...and I want a new one already.
My mom and her husband are going to hold on to it and they ride so maybe they'll still have it when I get back if they can't find a buyer. but it's not something I want to worry about. it doesn't really bother me to get rid of it after putting all that work into it. that's just what owning a motorcycle is and it's money already spent so no use ruminating over it I guesss....and I want a new one (a bigger and faster one!) already.
sorry things are going so craptacular. hope they get better and soon.

was 80 degrees and totally sunny today here too. went for a short hour ride just outside of town. the bike seems to be running great. just in time to try to sell it. :\

And yeah, my cat is all about forcing himself onto laps or creating them when need be. If my wife or I sit still for more than thirty seconds, any flat surface on our body becomes a lap as far as our cat is concerned.
