so, i feel a need to update 'cause i don't really know when i'm gonna get another chance for a little bit. i like bein busy, it makes time go faster, but there's that moment right before it hits when you sorta have to brace yourself, you know?

let's see - tonight i get to track down the pot-smoking no-longer-my-boyfriend boy to get the rest of my clothes back. we've been playing phone tag for a week, and it's startin to drive me nuts. dude, we were together for a few months, you know if you call my office at 8, i ain't gonna be here... grr.

but after that brethren fast and the mean-eyed cats at the toad tavern - yummy! the brethren boys are much much fun, and i've not see the cats before, but they actually have a girl singer, which promises to be a nice change... i've never been to the toad... but i'll buy a drink for any sg folks who come up and say hi, deal?

tomorrow morning is undergrad graduation here. and my first graduating class. i've been in this job four years, so these are my kids that i saw before they were even students here. wow. i'm torn between just being really really proud of them and feeling old... lol. then graduation parties. uh-oh. i've got three on my calendar so far, but there are always more. graduation saturday is a bit of a wild day, usually. anybody wanna be my designated driver/chaperone?? pretty please??

and then sunday morning (now it seems a little early, but oh well) i fly out to jacksonville to visit my brother for a week. hooray. a week on the beach, some boat camping, and damn fine company.

i'll prob be able to update some while i'm there, if not quite as obsessively as usual, lol.
