okay, so here i am talking shit about not holding my breath waitin for the phone call, right? he calls me three times today! that hasn't happened in months... lol

mind you, i missed every single one, but he left messages, and pretty sweet ones. dammit, must he confuse me so?!?!

but, i'm all ready for "the talk" now... i know what i want to say, and hopefully have figured out how to say it in a way that gives him a chance to respond honestly - 'cause i'd rather have that than anything else...

so, we're gonna try again later this week to catch the nascar imax (i will not laugh, i will not laugh, i will not laugh) and hopefully dinner and maybe we can manage an actual conversation. sigh.

but -- -- -- tomorrow (tuesday) night i have a bit of a treat. going out to ladies' 80's with an absolutely wonderfully gorgeous coworker. tall willowy blonde who got me hooked on buffy, lol. it's been way too long since we partied together, so i'm definitely looking forward to it.

don't know if i'll make it on at all tomorrow - so you kids be good. and if you're not tell me about it, promise?
