Yes I have had many decks over the course of 20 years. I started reading tarot when I was 13. My daughter has been learning tarot off and on since she was able to speak. She used to be more interested in Tarot than she is lately. She just turned 13. I actually just bought her a new book~ the girls guide to tarot. I am not sure if she read it or not because she is ALWAYS reading and maybe hasn't had a chance to get into that book yet. She did read the Mythology Tarot book because it was one of the decks she really likes. I gave her the MYTHIC TAROT when she was 9 about to turn 10 because she loves greek mythology.
I know the Alister Crowley deck you are talking about~ Thoth. I don't really like the imagery of that deck but my husband really likes it. He owns that deck. I do like that you can pick which magician or magisc out of like 5 or some shit.
I read with the Robyn Wood deck. I think I may have mentioned that in my b-day letter to you. I have owned many decks over the years as well. I usually give them away. I really want the virtual deck called THE ALLEGED TAROT. It's stickmen. You should google them. I would google via IMAGE rather than web. That way you can see how cute all of the are. It's weird because you would thing that it would mainly be heavy pip but they are all very artful.
I actually figured you owned at least one tarot deck- I don't know if I mentioned that in my letter. I do remember telling you that YOU ARE HIGHLY INTUITIVE.

I need to give my hubby a massage soon.

Love ya much!- Elle

i agree, maybe people are just not used to seeing you that way... hopefully you're eating healthy foods with lots of vitamins, etc if you're only consuming 1500 calories. i've gained like 5 lbs. recently which is kinda weird for a vegan. hehe. but i think it's all the convenience foods and carbs i've been eating lately cos i'm not around a kitchen to cook my own foods much lately. oh well. i really don't like being too skinny, a few extra lbs or more looks better on a woman. wink

Its more a repositioning.
I signed for a year not that long ago, so i'll be around for a while yet, but i realised i was getting so used to popping over to someones journal and seeing what they were up to I had stopped actually talking to some of them.

Wow. How do you feel? Last week spoke you were still in recovery and I was so intrigued. Must be very amazing.

What is the Jon Spencer reference? Someone else informed me. Unfortunately I am not an expert with JSBE. I should be though, I know. Feel free to youtube me.
jena:
Duh. I always knew Pussy Galore but didn't know it was Jon, as I am Jon-inept. I thought you were saying he had a song called PG.

This reminds me of the cute time I got to explain to a co-worker the origin of Anal Cunt.

I'm glad you're finally getting to move back. I know you had wanted to for a while. I assume you'll be in Chicago again? I'll have to make a point to swing by that way at some point to visit.

ugh, tv makes me crazy. a lot of people do that leaving it on for noise thing but it grabs and holds my attention so intensely that it really is the only thing that I can have going on. there are a few shows that I truly enjoy, though, so I can either watch or not watch. (sigh)

depending on my mood, sometimes all I want to watch are commercials-- when they are witty and clever and subtle. but-- gah! these blatant, repetetive, misinformative commercials make me insane...

He used to come into the place that I used to work and use my office if I wasn't there. Even if I came back and he'd long vacated the building I could still smell that he'd been using my stuff! Eventually, my boss realized that his scent was tarnishing our reputation as a non-freaky nature organization and she phased him out of programming... I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had to deal with someone like that!
