So my weekend is finally over. It was a pretty good one though. Friday night looked like it was going to be pretty lame so I headed off to the bar (The Chat Room) and there was a band playing, Telegraph Canyon and I thought they were pretty amazing. Then some people I know showed up so that was pretty cool, then I came home and some other people came over and we just chilled.
Saturday I woke up and went and picked up Zoe and we headed down to Austin to see the Barack Obama speech. The trip down was mostly uninteresting, we finally got down there to Bee Cave Texas and went up. He gave a great speech, although it wasn't very long. We headed back to the car as soon as possible, but it was pretty useless, we sat in the parking lot for over an hour waiting to get out. Finally we get out and head to this place we saw on the way there called Pizza Garden. We ordered a half and half pizza, my side was to have cajun shrimp and hers was to have veggie sausage and peppers. They brought out the pizza and the waitress had mistakenly put cajun chicken on it. I told her not to worry about it, but then took a bite and remembered how much i hate chicken in tomato sauce, it just gets all moist and nasty so I decided I'd forgo dinner. Anyway, the waitress came back and told me she'd get me a pizza with cajun shrimp. A little while later, she said they burned the second pizza and were working on a third so the pizza was going to be free, we just had to pay for the beer. I still gave the waitress a nice tip though, she had obviously been having a rough night and I've waited tables before and I hate when people get attitudes and don't tip.
So after that we took the way too long drive home and I hate driving now. The drive home was pretty boring.
Then I get home and theres people visiting so we sit up and watch reefer madness... I think I enjoy that movie more than anyone else did...
And today, I got up around noon and me and my roommate matt went to the comic book convention. Got some comics, a SG t shirt, and ebola (those little giant microbe plush dolls.) Anyway, now I'm home and just chilling... how was all of ya'lls weekends?

sounds like an interesting weekend. i wish mine was more eventful, but it was good. i slept in saturday, got up, and i think pretty much spent the whole day doing nothing around the house... went and got coffe though. and watched 8 episodes of prison break before bed.... did the same on sunday.
