I just moved and I'm planning another move in about a year (once my lease is up) to Austin.
I was digging through boxes of shit that I've collected over the years and came upon a little box imparticular. It had pictures, letters, etc. from around 6-8 years ago of the first girl I ever fell in love with. So naturally... I wrote a song. Rather quickly too actually. I have no way of recording right now, but a friend/band mate of mine is planning on recording some of my solo songs (which fall more in the country *ahem* spectrum)
Anyway... I've been feeling creative lately and less social, I should have gone to a bonfire friends were having but instead I stayed in and have been tweaking at my songs.
I'm also going to be spending the next year practicing my ass off on guitar, the last show I played kind of convinced me that I need to know that neck better. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't pleased with it. Most people didn't notice, but I did. Course the fact that an entire brewery's existence was on my shoulders probably put a little un-needed stress on top of things. Never again.
I'm also going to take the test to get my M class license tomorrow. I'm hoping my dad buys me a bike and lets me pay it off, I want one while I'm still all super excited about it.
Here's to the death of the life of the party!
