As her glossed lips sparkled and stared me down

I left her in the cab of my truck
And she found my antidote and she robbed me

And in the 24 hours I knew her, all she learned
Everything I tried to say was lost
And everything she wanted to hear that I didn't
Was found

And I loved her for so long in that twenty-four hours
And damnit I hated her more
She slammed that door like the lid of a dumpster
While I cried myself to sleep behind the wheel

I watched in the dew drops on my rearview
As she strutted like she had to perform
