hello all! i mean, hello ten people that actually read my journal! so happy to update because i'm having a wonderful time on the east coast. i was in burlington, vermont all weekend...got to see the most picturesque colors of autumn, colors i could've never imagined! i took pics, hopefully i'll be able to transfer them onto a disk so i can post them here. i'm back in ny today, about to head off on the ferry to manhattan. it's fucking chilly compared to cali, but that was expected. my highlight so far has been the colors of course, a museum i went to called BREAD AND PUPPETS...a sort of hippie commune turned puppeteers, amazing work, and the best part was that their museum was built on the trust system. all their art, merch, puppet exhibits were on a farm in rural vermont. we had to take dirt roads through the mountains to find it. and there is no one running the place (except for a cute little kitten we found running around), so you just leave your $$ in a wooden box if you wanted to buy anything from their store. i bought this ring made with wire and beads, very tre hippie, but god damn i already lost it. and the third highlight was this reggae show i went to with my cousin patrick, who is just a doll, i love him, where i got to see all the vermont hippies that looked like they just grew out of the mountain. it's been a beautiful trip so far. i think i'm gonna plan some sort of road trip out here so i can get my friends to see all the magnificent sights. and plus road trips are fucking fun. okay i miss suicide girls though. i've had two dreams so far featuring katie, jaidee, reagan, aries, and chevelle. weirdness. love to all....
