Wow. So my city council came up with a new by-law! They set serious noise-restrictions on motorcycles. JUST motorcycles. Not big lifted diesel Rig-Rockets, not cars... just us. (now the same lady who came up with that is trying to silence fire-trucks and ambulances at night, the crazy bitch) Also, the restrictions are lower than a LOT of stock exhaust!!
Anyways, there's a petition against it out now, so I went and signed it. But Irony took over on my ride home when I got hit by a van. Turning left to go north on 105st, 104ave I had the turn-light, was at the front of the line through the whole light, started going, and an absent-minded idiot saw the truck behind me, but not me and followed the car in-front of him for his right-turn. Heard me just in time (since I rolled on the gas to get away) looked forward, hit his brakes, and only knocked my rear tire over about a meter. I managed to stay up. Thank you for proving our point, pal. I can understand restrictions to a CERTAIN extent, but the fact is that loud pipes save lives. Glad I didn't end up under the car next to me.

Crazy story man. Have you ever had a near accident like that before?
