A light breeze is all it takes....they circle endlessly, never flapping...riding the currents and covering more than a square mile. They look and they watch.....just waiting for fortune to make a turn for the worse....they have patience, they have all day today....and they have tomorrow....and so they wait....they watch....and they circle....tirelessly, effortlessly, patiently......they circle, they circle.

The turkey buzzards are every where here these days....

Ahhh, your journal entries are like little mini-vacations for me. Always completely beautiful and comforting.
It's so nice to read them after a hard long day at work. It seems all I do these days is work and eat and dream. I wish that I had more time to keep up to date with my friends here on the site, but it is hard when I work six days a week. Something always gets neglected, this time in my life it is my internet time and exercise.
Sending you love and good wishes,
RoseMarie

I'm back.....500 miles round trip....but, it was a nice wedding and my voice sounded pretty good, even though I haven't sang like that for sooooooooo long....I got quite a few compliments, which is always nice. I was glad that I could do it for my nephew and his young lady bride.

On the downside, I didn't sleep worth a darn for the 2 nights in...

Aw, Sabre. You are so great. I really sincerely appreciate what you said in that thread. You are so kind and warm and genuine. It just figures that you would sing a song for your nephews wedding. What song did you sing?

'Nothing like sleeping in your own bed.
I hope that you sleep really well tonight, and dream about beautiful women, moonlight, and silhouettes of trees.

I'm leaving today to go to my nephew's wedding and won't be back until sometime Sunday afternoon.

Have a great Friday and a great weekend! smile biggrin

Today has turned into my silly day.....I have no control over it. I think it may stem from getting no sleep at all on Sunday night and very little and only in 2-3 hour increments, since then.

In short, I'm slap happy and more than just a little goofy today......

I think I'll take a nap and see if it won't take the silliness/goofyness edge...

Ok....so the recent weirdness that has invaded my life for the last couple of days, continued on today.

I found out this morning, much to my surprise, shock and almost crapping in my pants, that I have a badger living under my house. Yep, he's burrowed his way in under the short foundation under the old part of the house and has taken up residence...

I could eat eggs every day.

I don't, but I could.....

I like em' scrambled, hardboiled, poached, deviled, omleted, over easy or sunny side up. Add some cheese and I'm in heaven!

This whole entry was prompted by the fact that for supper tonight, I had a scrambled egg and cheese sandwich, made with buttered toast. A tall, cool glass of whole milk to wash...

Ah.The incredible edible egg.
I love eggs benedict. ooo aaa We serve it at the restaurant. I squeeze the lemons for the cooks to make it with.
Also, breakfast burritos with bacon, cheddar, pico de gallo and avocado with home fries wrapped up inside. miao!!
I am running late this morning because I laid in bed so long just staring out the window at the branches. Today is the perfect day.

I hope yours is too. smile

It's hard to figure our what makes some people tick.......and why instead of ticking like a well oiled clock, they tick like a bomb just waiting for the right moment and the right thing to set them off.....

A ticking bomb that is just waiting for the slightest excuse to go off.....be careful not to get caught up in their madness, for they are all...

I've been feeling pretty restless the last few days.

I have a little feeling that it may be being caused by my sex drive....if you get my drift.

Keeping busy hasn't helped at all....my attention span has been pretty low.....restlessness in my loins!
rosemarie:
I know exactly how you feel, being very restless myself lately. I have been told that my sex drive is abnormally high, but I think that it should be the standard set level for people I date.
*sigh*, wouldn't that be nice?
Oh well, I'm holding out for love anyway, these days. The two flavors mix very well. ooo aaa
rosemarie:
That was really really sweet, all of what you said and your kind wishes, too. It's funny, I was here on your page when you wrote that!

it was an incredibly nice evening tonight. The moon was just a sliver when it first appeared in the western sky, just before the sun went down. It was a bright white slice, that turned from white to orange as it followed the sun lower and a lower, until it disappeared below the horizon only a few minutes after the sun made it's daily departure...

The rain this morning was wonderful. It was the kind of rain that you can walk in, but not get soaked to the bone unless you stay out in it for more than 10 minutes. My hair tends to curl a little when it gets wet....I looked like a tall Brillo pad when I came back inside....hehehehe biggrin

By noon the rain had moved on and...

Thats cool that you got to go for a ride and see the rain in the same day.

You should have a slide show party with your family and friends. I love theme parties.

It sounds like you have a huge project ahead. smile I love wintertime crafts and projects. I am getting ready to start making some Christmas gifts. Candles and salt-scrubs and lip balms and soaps. ooo aaa I love doing all that. Also, I need a photo of you. I am making a friends' photo wall in my room. miao!!
