I bought 3 movies on DVD yesterday. One of them I found in the $6 aisle....a movie that I had been looking for on DVD for some time now. It was made in the mid-80's....a take off or should I say send up of the old 40's-50's B western movies. It's called Rustler's Rhapsody and stars Tom Berenger, Marilu Henner, Sela Ward and Andy Griffith. Campy, silly, filed with not so thinly veiled ennuendo.....I loved it and laughed myself silly while watching it last night. I can't help it, I love that kind of stuff....though I would only admit it to by closest friends.
The others that I bought were I Robot....which I saw in the theater and Hellboy, which I'd never seen. Tonight should be a good night to watch.
New Years Eve and day are not such a big deal to me......mostly because there never anything going on around where I live. Years ago, we would have a dance and party in town, but that died out a long time ago. So, things will be pretty quiet around here tonight and tomorrow. Since I put up an artificial tree this year, there has been no rush to get it down and put away, like most years. I think tomorrow morning will be a good time to get the lights and decorations off and get it put away. Thus officially endith the holiday season for me.
I tend not to make resolutions or think back so much about the year gone by.....I would rather look forward to the new year ahead of me. With that in mind....
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND THOSE I LOVE !!!
