Another great day here at the ranch.....a little foggy this morning and everything covered in heavy frost, but the old sun turned up it's burners after it hit the horizon and the fog and frost were no match for it. If you ever have the time, warm clothes on and the inclination, it's kind of fun to just sit and watch the sun slowly melt away the frost.....the natural cycle of nature fascinates me sometimes. Most people would probably point and say "Look at the retard watching the frost melt!", but that doesn't really bother me.
I took a few minutes while outside this morning, to have a romp with the dog. Dogs are such social creatures.....they love the interaction....they love the chase and the play. Perhaps it's just me, but there is just something about a dog, that is good for my soul.
I started my inside work this morning, by writing a few checks to pay some bills. Something distracted me and I was easily sidetracked, so this afternoon it's back to fulfulling my financial obligations. While it's not my favorite job in the world and I sometimes procrastinate about doing it, I still find some satisfaction in it. The fact that I can say to someone, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday, for a hamburger today", and they let me do that by billing me later, means they trust me and have some faith in my responsibility. Satisfying that obligation to them gives me a sense of....well....satisfaction. Kind of takes some of the sting out of the fact that my hard earned money is going away.
Today is Wednesday....sometimes known as Hump Day to some. Of course it actually refers to Wednesday being the middle of the work week and the last 2 days to the weekend being dowhill from here.....having got over the "hump" of Wednesday. But, whenever I hear someone mention Hump Day, I get this image of people rushing home over their lunch break for noon quickies with their partners....it never fails to make me chuckle out loud to myself......my mind sometimes works in wacky ways I guess. I've always had the ability to amuse myself. I've had people comment on how I most always have a smile on my face, when I meet them on the street in town. It's probably a good thing that they don't know what's going on in my head, since I'm probably thinking about something silly or dirty....or something silly and dirty and the smile that they take for general friendliness is really just my brain coming up with new ways to amuse itself......which is not to say that I'm not friendly to those I meet....it's just that I've already put myself in a good mood before meeting them.
Here's a little saying, that really has no relavance to anything I've written here today, but is not to bad just on it's own merits:
"Life is not so much about where you end up at, as it is about the road you took to get there."

It's really weird here right now, There is like 3 feet of snow, and it is pouring rain and lightning. Very eerie.
I think the world is going to end, like "The day after tomorrow" Tsunamis, snow in Mexico, thunderstorms in January. *Shudder*
Have a good night, get the red out of those eyes!
I see you changed your profile pic to "Sexy tanning Sabre."
Good for you.
