The old mercury hit 48 degress this afternoon....it was glorious! Tomorrow and Thursday are predicted to get into the 50's....just imagine!

I spent a good deal of time outside today. I actually looked for things to do this afternoon that would keep me outside in this nice weather. I know it can't last, so I tried to take good advantage of it while I could. 2004 is going out like a lamb.....I fear this does not bode well for the beginning of 2005.

I am seriously considering investing a pretty good chunk of money into a new digital camera. I really do enjoy photography.....as a hobby of course....and the advent of the digital age and great home user/user friendly software has made it even easier and better. The new Nikon D70 has caught my attention. While it is a sizeable investment in a camera, it's ability to produce the 35mm quality that I'm used to, might just make it worth the money, even on a hobby basis. I would only need to buy the camera body, since I'm pretty sure my Nikon lenses that I have for my 35mm Nikon would interchange.....I have to investigate this a little further to be sure and my getting the camera would depend on the lenses being able to be swapped. There are so many things in the world around me that I have the desire to capture, but my current digital camera just doesn't have quite the capabilities to do them justice. Anyway, it's something I'm seriously considering in the next month or so......stay tuned........

2005 is fast approaching......I'll probably still be writing 2004 on my checks until March.....
