GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
My ISP is testing the limits of my good nature...my connection was out most of the day.
When I call, the people I talk to are nice and empathic, but this keeps happening way to often for the $ I'm paying for this service.
My Christmas tree is now decorated, so I can scratch that one off of my list of things to get done. My problem with decorating a tree, is that after working at the garden center for so many years, where we set up and decorated as many as 40 trees for display and sale, that I can't just throw a tree together any more. I have to do it right and make it look great or I'm not happy with it. So, putting up the tree and decorating it is a time consuming thing for me. Anyway, it's done and I'm happy with it.
My great niece and great nephew were here to visit this morning. We had a great time. They are from out of state and I only get to see them a few times a year, so it was good that they could come and spend some time with me. They are great kids and they helped me decorate the bottom half of the tree. I wasn't expecting them and when it came to dinner time, I was lucky that I had a family size box of Velvetta macaroni and cheese on hand. I only had a few left overs in the fridge that I was going to have for my dinner today, none of which was very "kid friendly". So Mac'n Cheese it was for one and all! We topped the whole meal off with ice cream and oatmeal raisin cookies (my idea ) since I'm pretty much just a big kid at heart.
I have a meeting to go to tonight, but hopefully it won't last long. It only made it to 10 degrees today and with the sun going down right now, the temperature will follow and start dropping like a rock. I'm not looking forward to getting out into the cold tonight......as I'm getting older, it's beginning to bother me more. Luckily, my pickup has heated seats that will start warming my tush pretty quickly on the way home.
Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful........

I don't know what I will do when all the hullaballo is over. Spend more time with you people, shoot some more sets, RELAX. I am really looking forward to it, actually.
