It tried to snow here last night, but we only ended up with something less than 1/2 inch.....it was kind of pathetic really and a complete waste of snow.....if it can't put down at least an inch, then what's the point?

I have a tree up, but nothing on it yet....I'm seriously contemplating a minimalist tree this year, with no lights, no ornaments...nothing. Maybe just a little bird in a nest in one of the boughs.....it's supposed to be good luck if you find a tree with a birds nest in it....not sure if it really works if you put a nest in it after you put the tree up or not. I just can't seem to get enthused about doing any tree decorating. In fact, I wasn't really very interested in putting up at tree at all this year....which is unusual for me. Maybe I'm a little Scroogie this year or something.....not really sure, but there is no excitement for Christmas in my heart yet. I did the shopping and that was OK, but the rest of it just hasn't come to me yet...................oh well......

I didn't sleep very well last night....did alot of tossing and turning. Perhaps my mind is a little restless for some reason right now. I hate it when things are like this for no apparent reason. If I know what the cause is, I can deal with it, but when it has no real explanation, it bugs the hell out of me. I'm sure it will all work itself out eventually.

After making the mistake of jokingly telling Hexe that I would send her one of my "out takes" ( of course I don't really have any "out takes" ) she decided to tell me that she was waiting for me to post one to her journal ( who knew she actually read my drivel that I post there...let alone remember it from a couple of days ago ) So, I dug around and found something as close as I could to make good on my commitment. After thinking about it for about an hour, I've decided to post it here too....maybe I need to do more things that aren't really in my nature to do....loosen up a little.........
