Every day I sit down here and try to figure out what the hell to say.....see, I never think about it or get it figured out ahead of time. So, I hope it doesn't disappoint you too much, that I don't put hours of thought into my journal entries for you.....you get a good dose of my spontenaity most days. Oh well....what're ya gonna do?
My old refrigerator was about to give out, so I put in a new one about a month ago. I got one of those new fangled ones with the water and ice through the door. Today I got around to getting the water line run to the fridge, so now I can get ice cold, filtered water and either cubed or crushed ice without even opening the doors. Isn't technology great? Getting cold water and ice the old way was just killing me and now this will definitly take a big load off of me!
Fall weather continues...it was a sweatshirt day today. Overcast skies and a dampness in the air that made 48 degrees feel colder than it was. Walking outside is like walking on potato chips.....crunch, crunch, crunch go the leaves. I have a pretty good pile of sticks and branches that came down from the trees, during the course of the spring and summer, all piled up and just waiting for the perfect night for a bonfire/weiney roast. It needs to be a clear, cool evening, with little or no wind. Funny how you can wait until the last minute to decide to have it and everyone you call to come to it will somehow manage to get there.....I guess everybody loves a weiny roast!
Hope you had a great day.....
