Thunderstorms....big time thunderstorms with brillant flashes, deafing thunder, wind and rain.....nature's lullabye....it woke me about 2:30 am, just long enough to decide I didn't care if it rained in the windows and to pull the covers tighter around my neck and go back to sleep.
It's wet here today, so muddy boots will be the footwear of choice....or by necessity rather than choice.
I was thinking last night, that I should make some phone calls to people I haven't talked to for awhile. Friends, family, etc. I made 8 calls....nobody was home.....the story of my life! So, I settled with leaving a few goofy mesages and I'm going to see how many of them will call me back.
I have good plans for today. They aren't exciting enough to talk about here, but they're good in their own way. One of my plans is to get back on the treadmill sometime today....I've ignored it too much lately and I'm noticing my lack of dedication to it..
Music is on my agenda today as well....tell me what you like to listen to and give me some suggestions that might widen my musical horizons.
