i never said kerry WASN'T a vietnam vet. i acknowledged the fact that he did indeed participate. now, what he really did there.. well. there's evidence. it wasn't good. veterans WHO SERVED WITH HIM have told stories about him. but i guess a lot of people are just too hell-bent on hating bush, so they don't pay attention to that.

Just because you heard on Fox News that the wounds he recived were only scratches doesn't change the FACT that he received medals from the military.

As far as the "Steamboat Captains for truth" (or whatever the fuck they call themselves) are concerned, I would hardly say that they have an unbiased opinion.

you're the one that's backwards. if you're going to be cynical about something how about being cynical about the fact that you really have no idea at all about what's going on with the war, or why we are fighting it. just be cynical about the fact that despite your being all pissed off about the way the country is being run, all the other alternatives (kerry, etc.) that were offered up were solidly shot down by people who saw him for what he really is...a tool.
a decorated vietnam war vet tool, but a tool nonetheless.
